William Carey Baseball’s Baron Brack Named SLIAC Hitter of the Week

Columbus, Miss. — William Carey University senior outfielder Baron Brack has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Hitter of the Week for baseball, covering games from April 20 to 26, 2026, the league announced.

Brack posted a .524 batting average over five conference games, going 11-for-21 at the plate. He recorded six extra-base hits, including three doubles and three triples, and drove in nine runs while scoring six times. The outfielder also drew one walk and was hit by a pitch during the week.

His slash line for the week was .524/.952/.520. Brack had at least one hit in each game and recorded four multi-hit games. In a Saturday game against Greenville, Brack became the first William Carey player to hit two triples in a single game. His second triple of the day led off the 10th inning and set up the game-winning run scored by teammate Chase Marshall.

For the season, Brack is batting .396 with 12 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs. He leads the Owls with 56 RBIs and has scored 41 runs, according to team stats.
