The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will hold its annual Football Media Day on July 15 at the Sheraton Birmingham, beginning at 10 a.m. CST, the conference announced. All 12 SWAC head football coaches and two student-athletes from each institution are expected to participate.
The event will include the unveiling of the 2026 SWAC Football Predicted Order of Finish. Attendees will also have access to one-on-one interviews with coaches and student-athletes starting at 10 a.m. CST. A list of participating coaches and student-athletes will be released at a later date.
The SWAC is recognized as a leading HBCU conference, with many alumni competing in professional sports. The league offers championship competition in sports including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, indoor and outdoor track and field, tennis, softball, soccer, volleyball, and bowling.
