The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will hold its annual football media day on July 15 at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama. The event begins at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time.
All 12 SWAC football head coaches and two student-athletes from each school are scheduled to attend. The conference will also unveil its predicted order of finish for the 2026 season during the event.
Media members can start conducting one-on-one interviews with coaches and players at 10 a.m. CDT. A full list of attending coaches and student-athletes will be announced at a later date. The SWAC is a prominent HBCU conference known for producing professional athletes. Its current competitions include men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, indoor and outdoor track and field, and tennis. Women’s sports include basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track and field, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
