Games To Watch: Magnolia gets SAHE playoff rematch; Unity visits Faith Christian

Magnolia gets another look at SAHE on Saturday, this time in a playoff game. The Wildcats travel from Terry to Brandon for a 7 p.m. CDT kickoff on October 31, facing a Warriors team that beat them 76–32 earlier this month. SAHE enters 6–2; Magnolia is 2–7.

The earlier game in this focused Games To Watch selection is also a rematch: Unity Christian Academy visits Faith Christian HomeSchool Academy in Madison at 4 p.m. CDT. MaxPreps identifies it as a first-round playoff game. Faith Christian won the teams’ October meeting, so both games give the earlier loser another opportunity against a familiar opponent.

Magnolia at SAHE: a different finish to chase

Unity at Faith Christian: the first meeting’s winner hosts

Faith Christian beat Unity 46–30 in Leland on October 2. This time the Tornadoes host in Madison. MaxPreps lists Unity at 4–4 and Faith Christian at 4–7 entering the game; the earlier head-to-head result gives Faith Christian a more favorable comparison than those overall records alone.

Unity comes off a 16–8 victory over Southwest Christian Academy on October 23. Faith Christian lost 39–14 at East Central HomeSchool that same date. The Soldiers bring the more recent winning result, while the Tornadoes have already shown they can win this matchup.
