Southwest Mississippi Athletics announced that 111 student-athletes received MACCC Academic All-Conference awards for the 2025-26 academic year. The recognition honors athletes who excel academically while competing in various sports.
Among those recognized for maintaining a 3.8 GPA or higher are athletes from baseball, women’s basketball, golf, men’s soccer, softball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, volleyball, and football. Notable names include Justin Domiano, Talana Bond, Ethan Legg, Cohen Bonner, Zoey Brown, Taylor Allen, Anna Comeaux, Saylor Hammond, Phillip Burchfield, and Dawson Knox.
Additionally, 64 student-athletes earned the All-State designation for maintaining a GPA of 3.25 or higher. This group includes athletes from baseball, women’s basketball, golf, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s tennis, softball, volleyball, football, and men’s tennis, such as Talen Boyd, Jada Houston, Blake Broussard, Jackson Boyd, and Jeremy Comeaux Jr.
