Owls Soccer Teams Earn Academic Honors from US Coaches

The United Soccer Coaches announced its College Team Academic Award winners for the 2025-26 academic year, honoring both the women’s and men’s soccer teams at Mississippi University for Women.

The award recognizes teams from all levels of college soccer, including NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and junior college, for their academic achievements. The W women’s team posted a team GPA of 3.52 last season, while the men’s team had a GPA of 3.13, according to USC.

A total of 793 teams across the country earned the award by posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Of those, 184 schools had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized. MUW’s teams are among those honored for their academic performance during the 2025-26 academic year.
