Norman, Oklahoma — Ole Miss women’s tennis is set to face No. 14 Vanderbilt in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Thursday at 12 p.m. Live scoring and video links are available through the Ole Miss athletics website.

The 10th-seeded Rebels (15-10, 6-9 SEC) earned their spot after a 4-0 victory against Kentucky in the first round. Vanderbilt, the seventh seed, received a bye due to its top-eight conference standing.

The teams previously met earlier this spring in Nashville, with Vanderbilt winning 5-2. Ole Miss’s highlights included singles wins from Brooklyn Olson and Riley Crowder, who defeated Mia Yamakita and Erin Pearce, respectively. Olson’s victory was 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, and Crowder’s was 2-6, 7-5, 7-6.

Vanderbilt finished its season with a mixed record, losing three of its last four matches but recording notable wins against top-ranked teams including No. 1 Georgia and No. 12 Tennessee. The Commodores are ranked No. 14 nationally, while Ole Miss is No. 38 in singles and doubles rankings.

Ole Miss’s roster features key players such as Riley Crowder, a top recruit from Alabama, and Emily Welker, ranked No. 6 in ITA singles. The team also includes senior Ichino Horikawa and junior Andrea Nova, who contributed significantly last season. The Rebels added three freshmen this offseason, including Crowder and Wilkinson, both highly ranked recruits.

The winner will advance to the SEC quarterfinals, continuing the pursuit of an NCAA tournament bid. Fans can follow the match via live stats and streaming links provided by Ole Miss athletics.
