Ole Miss Women’s Golfer Mary Miller Earns Second Team All-SEC Honors

Ole Miss sophomore Mary Miller has been named to the second team All-SEC, the conference announced Friday. The Savannah, Georgia, native transferred from Georgia Southern and made her first all-conference team appearance in her second collegiate season.

Miller set a career-low 54-hole score of 204 (-6) and tied her best 18-hole score of 68 (-4) this season. She led the Rebels with 13 rounds under par and four top-10 finishes. Her season scoring average stands at 71.77.

Miller finished as the runner-up in stroke play at the SEC Championship, the best finish of her season. She has been a key leader for Ole Miss throughout the year and is expected to help guide the team at the upcoming NCAA Regionals, scheduled for May 11-13 at the University of Louisville Golf Club.

The Rebels will be the No. 4 seed in the Simpsonville Regional, marking their eighth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and sixth straight regional with a top-four seed. Ole Miss’s continued postseason success underscores the strength of its women’s golf program, which regularly advances to national competition.
