Ole Miss Volleyball Opens 2026 Season With Exhibition at Arkansas State

OXFORD, Miss. — The Ole Miss volleyball team will play its first match of the 2026 season Saturday in an exhibition against Arkansas State. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Ark., according to the university.

The exhibition serves as a final tune-up before the Rebels open their regular season Friday against Southeastern Louisiana at 6 p.m. CT at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center. The day will feature a doubleheader, beginning with a neutral-site match between Loyola Marymount and Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. CT, part of the Ole Miss Volleyball Invitational, the university said.

Ole Miss head coach Bre Henry, in her fourth full season leading the program, has reshaped the roster for 2026. The team welcomes several notable newcomers, including All-AAC opposite Jorda Crook, All-Sun Belt honoree Nina Moorer, and setter Tenesyn Frye. Returning players include fifth-year outside hitter Shayla Meyer, outside hitter Melia Johnson, and middle blocker Keirstyn Carlton.

Fans are encouraged to support the Rebels through the ACE Club, which helps fund the program. The university also promotes its Rebel Rewards loyalty program, powered by Coca-Cola, which offers points redeemable for prizes and experiences. Fans can follow Ole Miss Volleyball on X, Instagram, and Facebook for updates and behind-the-scenes content.

Additional upcoming matches include contests against teams like Ohio State, Washington, Southern Miss, Clemson, Memphis, Kansas, and more, with the full schedule available on the university’s athletics website.
