Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Adds Stefan Vedovelli for 2026-27 Season

Ole Miss men’s tennis head coach Jake Jacoby announced the addition of Stefan Vedovelli to the team for the 2026-27 season, the university said Friday. The Italian native will transfer after two seasons at Belmont.

Last season, Vedovelli posted a 12-10 record in singles, playing across courts one through three. He also compiled a 16-12 doubles record while partnering with Sabi Roi. Notably, he and Roi defeated Ole Miss’s Kai Milburn and Isac Stromberg, then ranked No. 18 nationally, 7-5.

Coach Jacoby praised Vedovelli, citing his toughness and desire to improve. “Stefan is an outstanding addition to the team for this coming year,” Jacoby said. “He played against us this past spring and really impressed me with his toughness and his level both in doubles and singles. He has a huge desire to see how far he can go and how much he can improve, and we are very lucky to have him.”

Vedovelli joins fellow transfer additions Igor Kudriashov, Moritz Kudernatsch, Mason Landreth, and Niccolo Baroni. The roster for Ole Miss men’s tennis will feature nine student-athletes for the 2026-27 season, including returning players Stefano D’Agostino, Pietro Pampanin, Vlado Jankanj, and Kai Milburn.
