Ole Miss graduates 124 student-athletes at 2026 spring commencement
OXFORD, Miss. — The University of Mississippi recognized 124 student-athletes during its spring commencement ceremonies this week. The graduates include current and former athletes from a variety of sports, such as baseball, football, women’s basketball, and track and field.
The main convocation took place Saturday morning in the Grove at 9 a.m. Central Time. Additional ceremonies were held on campus starting Wednesday evening and continuing through Saturday night. A special event for athletes unable to attend Saturday’s ceremony is scheduled for Monday evening at the Ford Center, according to university officials.
Among those graduating are athletes from the December 2025, May 2026, and August 2026 classes. The list includes students earning undergraduate degrees, graduate certificates, and master’s degrees across various disciplines. Sports represented include baseball, basketball, cheer, football, golf, softball, tennis, volleyball, and track and field.
Ole Miss’s Student-Athlete Development Office oversees programs aimed at supporting academic achievement and personal growth. The university emphasizes its commitment to developing well-rounded individuals who can succeed beyond collegiate sports, according to a statement from the FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center.
