Jackson, Miss. — Myah Favre, a freshman volleyball player for the Jones College Bobcats, has been named the MACCC Offensive Player of the Week. The Pass Christian native delivered a standout performance across two matches against Pearl River and Bishop State.
Favre totaled 23 kills while hitting .390 during the week. She also added five service aces and three blocks. She opened the week with nine kills, three aces, and a solo block in a four-set match at Pearl River.
Two days later, Favre led Jones to a straight-set victory over Bishop State, finishing with 14 kills on 15 attempts for a .933 hitting percentage. She also recorded two aces and two block assists as the Bobcats improved to 4-2. The team is scheduled to return to action Wednesday against Southwest.
