The Mississippi Valley State University men’s and women’s cross-country teams will compete in six meets during the 2026 season, the school announced. The schedule includes events across Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
The season begins with the Mississippi College Opener on Sept. 4 in Clinton, Mississippi. The teams will travel to Huntsville, Alabama, for back-to-back meets, starting with the Alabama A&M Invitational on Sept. 11 and continuing with the Southern Showcase on Sept. 18.
In October, the teams will compete in the Belhaven Invitational in Clinton on Oct. 3. They will return to Clinton for the Watson meet on Oct. 16, their final tune-up before the conference championship.
The season concludes with the Southwestern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Oct. 27 in Tallahassee, Florida, according to the schedule provided by MVSU.
