MUW Baseball’s Matthew Windham Named OWL of the Week

Mississippi University for Women baseball player Matthew Windham was named OWL of the Week for the period of April 13-19, 2026, according to school officials.

Windham played in four games last week, including MUW’s SLIAC series victory over Eureka. He batted .421 (8-for-19) with two doubles, scored five runs, and drove in eight RBIs. He also drew one walk and was hit by a pitch.

In the conference wins against Eureka, Windham scored the deciding run in the first game and delivered the winning RBI in the third game. He also went 3-for-3 in stolen bases and played errorless centerfield in 18 chances, including throwing out one runner.
