Mississippi State’s 116 Student-Athletes Earn SEC Academic Honor Roll
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State University announced that 116 of its student-athletes earned spots on the 2026 Spring Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the SEC said Tuesday. The honor roll highlights student-athletes in baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track and field who maintained at least a 3.00 GPA during the 2025 summer, fall and 2026 spring terms, meeting additional academic and participation criteria.
The honorees represent eight different sports and study a wide range of majors, including mechanical engineering, microbiology, psychology, business administration and architecture. Baseball led the list with 27 honorees, followed by men’s track and field with 19, and women’s track and field with 33. Other sports include men’s golf with six, women’s golf with three, softball with 13, men’s tennis with eight, and women’s tennis with seven.
Overall, the SEC recognized 1,610 student-athletes across its member institutions this spring. Mississippi State’s honorees contribute significantly to that total, reflecting the university’s emphasis on academic achievement among its athletes.
Among the Bulldogs recognized are student-athletes from diverse academic backgrounds, including finance, interdisciplinary studies, kinesiology, psychology, marketing, microbiology, and more. The list includes players such as Jack Bauer and Blake Bevis in baseball, Drew Wilson in men’s golf, and Gabrielle Boulay in women’s track and field.
