Mississippi State Women’s Basketball to Compete in 2026 Fort Myers Tipoff

Mississippi State’s women’s basketball team has announced its participation in the 2026 Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tipoff, set for Nov. 27-28 on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Bulldogs are among eight top programs competing in the two-day event, which features two divisions: Shell and Island. In the Shell Division, Mississippi State will face Indiana and TCU. The Island Division includes LSU, NC State, Villanova, and Kansas State.

Mississippi State holds a 2-1 all-time record against TCU, with their most recent meeting a 68-61 victory on March 24, 2023, in Humphrey Coliseum. The Bulldogs and Indiana have split their three previous matchups, with Mississippi State winning the last encounter on Nov. 28, 2003, by a 70-67 margin. Specific game times and dates will be announced later.

Individual tickets for each session go on sale in September. Fans can also purchase travel packages on May 20, which include tickets to all games in either the Island or Shell divisions. Updates about the event are available through the Mississippi State athletics website and social media channels under the handle ‘HailStateWBK.’
