Mississippi State baseball game moved to 3 p.m. Friday; softball game unchanged
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State’s baseball game against LSU has been moved to 3 p.m. Friday due to forecasted inclement weather, according to university officials. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field and will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
Diamond Dawg Alley will open at 1:30 p.m. Friday. The planned America250 celebration will still take place before the game. However, the America250 fireworks show has been rescheduled for Saturday night after the game.
Meanwhile, the softball game between No. 17 Mississippi State and No. 20 LSU remains scheduled for 5 p.m. at Nusz Park. Officials expect the softball contest to conclude before weather conditions impact play, given its shorter duration.
Fans are encouraged to monitor Mississippi State Athletics’ official channels for updates on both events.
