Mississippi Christian University Hosts Choctaw C Spire Basketball Camp June 18-20
Mississippi Christian University will host the Choctaw C Spire Basketball Team Camp from June 18-20 at A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton. The camp is open to high school varsity and junior varsity teams seeking competition and skill development during the summer.
Teams can register for one, two, or all three days of the event. The fee is $300 per day, per team, with a coaches stipend available. The camp will be held inside the 48,000-square-foot A.E. Wood Coliseum, known as the “Golden Dome,” which seats 3,500 and features multiple support areas for teams and coaches.
According to organizers, there are still openings for all three days, including Saturday, June 20. Teams interested in participating are encouraged to reserve their spot soon and can find registration and contact information through the university’s camp contact page. The camp provides a collegiate atmosphere for teams to prepare for the upcoming high school season.
A.E. Wood Coliseum is a well-known landmark in Clinton and offers amenities such as team locker rooms, athletic training facilities, wireless internet, meeting and hospitality spaces, and on-site parking. The facility also includes the Quick Rebounders Room, which can accommodate up to 150 people for team gatherings and events.
Additional amenities include a fully equipped training room and spaces for team functions throughout the camp. The event aims to bring teams from across Mississippi and the surrounding region together for competitive play and skill development.
