Jones Men’s Golf Finishes Third at Northwest Ranger Invitational

ROBINSONVILLE — Jones College men’s golf finished third at the Northwest Ranger Invitational, held at Tunica National Golf Course. The Bobcats posted a combined score of 18-over par over three rounds, with scores of 11-over, 3-over, and 4-over.

Northwest Mississippi claimed the team title at 8-over, while East Central finished second at 13-over. Jones was led by freshmen Jax Poole and Julius Hautmann, who both tied for sixth place at even par. Poole shot rounds of 73, 71, and 72, while Hautmann posted rounds of 73, 73, and 70.

Pelle Fox finished 16th at 12-over par, with rounds of 79, 73, and 76. Mack Hutson tied for 21st at 13-over after rounds of 74, 74, and 81. Brody Chandler rounded out the team in 34th at 20-over, with rounds of 82, 80, and 74.

Matthew Eubank competed as an individual and tied for 21st at 13-over, with rounds of 74, 81, and 74. The Bobcats are scheduled to return to competition Sept. 14-15 at the Northeast Invitational at Shiloh Ridge Athletic Club in Corinth.
