Jones College wrapped up the 54-hole Charles Cooper Classic at Windance Country Club in Gulfport, with Julius Hautmann leading the Bobcats by tying for 39th at 15-over-par.
Hautmann shot rounds of 4-over, 6-over and 5-over. Oban Webber tied for 58th at 19-over, finishing with rounds of 2-over, 11-over and 6-over. Jax Poole and Pelle Fox shared 65th place at 21-over. Fox recorded a 4-over second round, tied for the lowest Jones score over the final 36 holes.
John Walker Brinson tied for 75th at 24-over. Matthew Eubank, competing as an individual, placed 94th at 33-over.
Mississippi Gulf Coast’s Paul Hoefer won medalist honors at 4-under, one stroke ahead of Shelton State’s Reid Larson and two ahead of East Central’s Sam Arthur. Hoefer followed an opening 2-over round with an 8-under second round, the tournament’s lowest, then closed at 2 over.
Jones is scheduled to host the Bobcat Invitational Nov. 2-3 at Laurel Country Club.
