Jones College’s Graham earns MACCC Pitcher of the Week after no-hitter

Jones College freshman right-hander Brayson Graham has been named the MACCC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Graham threw a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts and five walks in a 14-0 victory at No. 23 Copiah-Lincoln on April 8.

The eight strikeouts tied a season high for Graham and contributed to the Bobcats’ road split. He is 4-2 this season with a 5.40 ERA and also maintains a .289 batting average.

Jones is scheduled to play a doubleheader against Meridian on Tuesday at 1 p.m. The Bobcats aim to build on their recent success in upcoming games.
