Hinds Golf Finishes Fifth at MACCC Championship; Faucheaux Named All-Conference

The Hinds Community College men’s golf team finished fifth out of 12 teams at the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Championship, held over two days.

Stephen Faucheaux led the Eagles with an impressive performance, opening with a 66 (-4) in the first round to top the individual leaderboard. He followed with a 74 (+4) in the second round, finishing tied for sixth overall. His consistent play earned him a spot on the All-MACCC First Team, recognizing him as one of the top golfers in the conference this season.

Other Hinds players contributed throughout the tournament. Christopher Cain shot rounds of 74 and 72 to finish at 146, tying for 19th. Jarrett Pettis posted rounds of 76 and 75 for a total of 151, tying for 33rd. Cole Baglione recorded rounds of 71 and 77 to finish at 148, tying for 25th. Trevor Antley shot 80 and 80 for a total of 160, rounding out the lineup.
