Blue Mountain Christian’s Riddle Finishes Top 15 at NAIA Men’s Golf Championship

Silvis, Illinois — Blue Mountain Christian sophomore Cobey Riddle wrapped up his performance at the 2026 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship on Friday at TPC at Deere Run. Riddle finished tied for 15th place individually, competing against some of the top golfers in the nation.

Riddle helped lead the No. 12-ranked Toppers to one of their most successful seasons in program history. Although Blue Mountain Christian narrowly missed the team cut earlier in the week, Riddle continued to compete individually and stayed in contention throughout the tournament.

In the final round on the par-70 course, Riddle posted a score of 77. After a difficult start on the front nine, he recovered on the back nine, playing holes 10 through 18 at three-over par. He recorded pars on holes 11, 12, 14, 16, and 17.

His performance throughout the week capped a breakout sophomore campaign, during which he captured an individual title at the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational and was consistently ranked among the top NAIA golfers nationally. Teammates and coaches praised Riddle’s composure and competitiveness, highlighting his growth as a player.

Head coach Kevin Barefield commended Riddle’s effort, stating,
