Grenada pounces on Bartlett in a 34-10 victory
Grenada is on a roll this season. They have a lot of talent on the field to see. There are a lot of options on offense for their quarterback to get the ball to. Their defense is very stingy. Today, they went to Bartlett and defeated the Panthers 34-10.
Bartlett started the game off receiving the football. They did a good job of driving the football down the field, but they came up short with only three points.
Grenada did not score on their first drive, but they really pumped things up on their second drive. Brayden Trusty was able to connect with Zayion Cotton in the corner of the end zone. The score was 7-3 with about seven minutes left in the first quarter.
Bartlett was doing a lot of struggling during this game, but we cannot say the same for the Chargers. We saw them put up two more touchdowns before the half ended. At the break, the score was 20-3 Grenada. Macaleb Taylor was already on fire.
“It feels good being able to be on this run,” said Taylor. “We have a really good team. If it wasn’t for my offensive line. I wouldn’t be able to do all the things I am doing. We are looking forward to going back to state this season.”
The Chargers came back out of the locker room on fire. Braylon Hardiman took a screen to the house for seventy yards. That made the score 27-3. You could tell that the Panthers were starting to give up. Macaleb Taylor broke off another seventy yard run on the season and that was the end of it. Grenada won the game 34-10.
“We are having fun this season,” said Fair. “It feels good having guys on the field who you can trust. We have good offense and good defense. You can’t ask for anything better. I feel like we have the best running back in the state. I’m very excited for these guys.”
