The University of Mississippi rifle team released its schedule for the 2026-27 season, with competitions starting in late September. The Rebels aim to defend their NCAA smallbore national title and seek another run at the NCAA Championships.

Home matches are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. CT at the Ole Miss Rifle Range. The season opens September 26 with matches against UT Martin and Ohio State. The Rebels then host Memphis and Nebraska on October 10 before traveling to Colorado Springs for two days at Air Force on October 17-18.
The fall schedule concludes with a home match against Georgia Southern on October 24, followed by road trips to TCU on Nov. 7 and West Virginia on Nov. 14-15. The team begins 2027 hosting UTEP and Western Kentucky on Jan. 16-17, with a final tune-up at UTEP on Jan. 23.
The Rebels will compete in the PRC Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska, from Feb. 5-6. They then host Murray State on Feb. 13 before participating in the NCAA Qualifier in Memphis on Feb. 20. The season culminates at the NCAA Championships in Statesboro, Georgia, where the team aims to repeat as smallbore champions.
