Ole Miss Receiver Moore Named Biletnikoff Award Finalist
The honors continued to be racked up in a career year for Elijah Moore.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the Ole Miss Rebel wideout has been named a finalist for the illustrious Biletnikoff Award, which is given annually to the country’s best receiver, regardless of position.
Moore is joined by fellow Alabama wide receiver Devonta Smith and Florida tight end Kyle Pitts as the finalists selected.
The three finalists will guarantee that a player from the Southeastern Conference will take home the award for three years in a row.
Moore joins former Rebel Laquon Treadwell as the only two Rebels to be named a finalist for the Biletnikoff.
Moore leads the nation in receiving yards per game at 149.1 and receptions per game at 10.8.
Moore has opted out of the Rebels’ upcoming bowl appearance and will prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
