Mississippi State Announces 2027 SEC Baseball Schedule

The Southeastern Conference released its portion of the 2027 baseball schedule Tuesday, with Mississippi State set to open its SEC slate at Dudy Noble Field. The Bulldogs will host Missouri from March 19-21 to kick off conference play, according to an announcement from the league.

MSU’s home matchups also include rival Ole Miss (April 2-4), Texas A&M (April 16-18), defending national champion Oklahoma (April 30-May 2), and Arkansas (May 20-22), which will close the regular season at The Dudy.

The Bulldogs will travel to Georgia for their first road series at Georgia on March 25-27, a rematch of the 2026 Athens Super Regional. Additional away games include series at Florida (April 2-4), Vanderbilt (April 23-25), Tennessee (May 7-9), and LSU (May 14-16).

Series against Georgia and Arkansas are scheduled Thursday through Saturday. The league may shift other series to start on Thursdays based on television schedules, which will be announced later.

The SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 25-30 in Hoover, Alabama. Mississippi State finished with a 16-14 SEC record in Brian O’Connor’s first season as head coach, highlighted by sweeps of Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and LSU and advancing to the SEC quarterfinals and NCAA regional play.

The team will play four fall exhibition games, beginning with contests against Auburn and Southern Miss at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi on Oct. 9-10, as part of the Hancock Whitney Coast Classic. The Bulldogs will also face Western Kentucky in Jackson, Tennessee, on Oct. 18 and will conclude fall play at Dudy Noble Field later in October against an opponent to be announced.

Mississippi State will open its fall practices to the public, with nine sessions scheduled on Sept. 18, 20, 25, 27, and Oct. 2, 4, 16, 23, and 25.
