The stage is set for the 6A edition of the 2021 MHSAA State Baseball Championships as the Madison Central Jaguars face off against the Northwest Rankin Cougars.

As for the Cougars, Southern Miss-committed pitcher Nick Monistere will be where the eyes go. While he will have to make a massive impact, watch out also for Luke Lycette, Blake Summerlin, and Evan Rogers as three commits to Jones College who can play at an extremely high level.

Game two will take place on Friday with a 5 p.m. first pitch time also.
If needed, game three will be played on a day and time to be determined.
