Northwest Mississippi Women’s Soccer Remains No. 1 in NJCAA Polls

The Northwest Mississippi Community College women’s soccer team remained the top-ranked team in the NJCAA Division II poll after winning two games last week. The Rangers improved their record to 5-0 heading into conference play.

Northwest opened the week with a 3-0 victory over No. 18 Southern Union State Community College on the road. They followed up with a 17-0 win over National Park College in their home game Friday.

The team is scheduled to face Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Tuesday at 5 p.m., with the match streamed live on Ranger TV. They will then play at Southwest Mississippi Community College on Friday at 5 p.m. Northwest is one of five MACCC teams ranked in the top 20, including Jones College at No. 2, Holmes Community College at No. 4, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at No. 6, and Pearl River Community College at No. 10.
