Southern Miss Volleyball Sweeps at Home Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Southern Miss volleyball completed a perfect weekend at the Southern Miss Invitational with wins over Southern and Jackson State at the Wellness Center.

The Golden Eagles opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of Southern, winning 25-23, 25-23, 25-16. They closed the event with a 3-0 victory over Jackson State, taking the sets 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.

With the two wins, Southern Miss improved to 8-1 this season. It marked the program’s best start since opening the 2015 season with a 9-0 record, according to school officials.
