Millsaps College Golf Coach Michael Fluty Resigns

JACKSON, Miss. — Millsaps College has announced the resignation of head golf coach Michael Fluty, who led both the men’s and women’s programs for the past five seasons. Athletics Director Justin LeBlanc expressed appreciation for Fluty’s contributions, noting his role in elevating the programs.

During Fluty’s tenure, the women’s team achieved a historic milestone with the first-ever SAA first-place finish at the 2025 conference championship. Annie Piggott earned medalist honors for her first-place finish at that event. On the men’s side, Preston Severs finished third at the 2024 SAA Championship.
