Belhaven Men Set for CCS Cross Country Championship

Belhaven’s men’s cross country team is scheduled to compete in the 2026 CCS Championship on Friday at John Hunt Cross Country Park in Huntsville, Alabama. The 8-kilometer race is listed for 9:30 a.m. Central time, after the women’s race.

Freshman De’Marion Sims led Belhaven in its two most recent 8K races, according to the team. He ran 31:13.0 at the Belhaven Invitational on Oct. 3, then set a personal best of 30:15.2 at the Watson Collegiate Classic two weeks later. The six-team field also includes Huntingdon and LaGrange. The championship returns to the course used in 2025; live results are available online.
