Women’s Track and Field Team Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
The women’s track and field team has been named a USTFCCCA All-Academic team, recognizing their combined academic and athletic success for the season, according to an announcement from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Several athletes were highlighted for their contributions. Amelia Bohl, a junior, competes in throws and stands 5 feet 8 inches tall. Laken Day, a sophomore, also participates in throws and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. Senior Amari Jackson-Wright, who is 6 feet 1 inch tall, specializes in throws as well.
In sprinting and jumping events, Eleanor Scott, a senior standing 6 feet tall, is a key athlete. Fiona Selders, a junior, also competes in sprints and jumps and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. The team’s recognition underscores their dedication both in the classroom and on the track, according to the USTFCCCA.
