Martin, Tennessee – The Mississippi Valley State University baseball team fell to Tennessee-Martin 9-1 at Skyhawk Field. The Skyhawks scored nine unanswered runs after Mississippi Valley scored first in the top of the first inning, according to game statistics.
Mississippi Valley State, which is 2-10 overall, has yet to win a conference game in the SWAC. Tennessee-Martin improved to 7-7 this season. The Skyhawks now lead the series 10-0, with their current winning streak reaching 10 games.
