Southern Miss Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Sun Belt Conference Schedule

The University of Southern Mississippi announced its women’s basketball schedule for the 2026-27 Sun Belt Conference season, with the Lady Eagles opening league play on Dec. 16 at Reed Green Coliseum.

The Lady Eagles will play 18 conference games, including nine home contests and nine away matchups. Their first league game is against South Alabama. They will also face Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia, on Dec. 17, and Georgia Southern on Jan. 2 in Hattiesburg.

Southern Miss will face its first road test of 2027 on Jan. 6 at James Madison, followed by a game at Coastal Carolina on Jan. 9. The team will return home for games against Troy and ULM on Jan. 13 and Jan. 16, respectively. The team then begins a four-game road stretch, starting Jan. 20 with South Alabama, followed by contests at Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, and Arkansas State.

The Lady Eagles will host Louisiana on Feb. 6, then face Arkansas State and Louisiana Tech at Reed Green Coliseum on Feb. 11 and 13. Their final road games of the regular season are at Troy and ULM in mid-February. The regular season concludes Feb. 26 at home against Georgia State.

The Sun Belt Conference tournament begins March 2 in Pensacola, Florida, with the championship game scheduled for March 8. The winner earns an automatic bid to the 2027 NCAA Tournament.
