Southern Miss Announces Men’s Golf Schedule for 2026-27 Season

The University of Southern Mississippi men’s golf program has announced its schedule for the 2026-27 season. The team, which finished its previous season with its first NCAA Tournament appearance, will play nine tournaments before the Sun Belt Championship.

The fall portion includes four events, with the Golden Eagles returning to three familiar venues. They will compete at the JT Poston Invitational in Waynesville, North Carolina, from Sept. 13-15, and the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, from Sept. 27-29. The team will also participate in the Fallen Oak Collegiate, hosted by Southern Miss, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State, from Oct. 17-19 at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier, Mississippi.

In addition, Southern Miss will make its debut at the Blessings Collegiate in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from Oct. 3-5 at The Blessing Golf Club. The spring schedule opens with the Compadres Collegiate in Cancun, Mexico, from Feb. 7-9, marking the team’s first appearance in that event. The team will also compete at the Hal Williams Collegiate in Mobile, Alabama, from Feb. 15-16, and the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, Louisiana, from March 8-9.

The Golden Eagles will play in the Michael A. Marino Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from March 14-16, their first time in that tournament. The regular season concludes at the Mossy Oak Collegiate in West Point, Mississippi, on April 12-13. The team aims to qualify for the NCAA regionals, scheduled for May 10-12, with the national championship set for May 28 through June 2 at Omni La Costa Golf Club in Carlsbad, California.
