SEC Softball Tournament to Relocate to Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, Starting in 2027
The Southeastern Conference has announced that the SEC Softball Tournament will be hosted at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama, starting in 2027. The tournament will remain at the venue through 2030, with Ole Miss set to compete there for the first time in 2027.
Toyota Field is a baseball stadium in Madison, located just west of Huntsville. It is home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, a Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. The decision was praised by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, who called it a significant development for conference softball.
Sankey said the move to Madison offers a neutral site that enhances the experience for players, coaches, and fans. He added that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to elevating the tournament’s profile and creating new traditions.
Ole Miss previously competed at Toyota Field during the Rocket City Softball Showcase last season, earning four wins. The Rebels are currently preparing for a three-game series at No. 15 LSU, with all games streamed on SEC Network Plus.
Fans are encouraged to join Rebel Rewards, Ole Miss’ loyalty program powered by Coca-Cola, to earn points for attending events. For more information on Ole Miss softball, visit OleMissSports.com and follow the team on social media.
