Ole Miss Women’s Golf Ranked in Top 25 Preseason Polls

The University of Mississippi women’s golf team is ranked inside the top 25 in both preseason polls released Monday. The Rebels are No. 19 in the Golf Channel rankings and No. 24 in Golfweek’s list.

Ole Miss is one of 18 programs to appear in both rankings’ top 25. The team returns six golfers from a squad that advanced to the NCAA Championship for the fourth straight year and the seventh time in program history during the 2025-26 season.

Juniors Kajsalotta Svarvar and Mary Miller received preseason honorable mention All-America honors from Golf Channel. Svarvar, from Halmstad, Sweden, led the Rebels with a 71.39 stroke average last season, earning four top-five finishes and tying for third at the NCAA Louisville Regional. She finished tied for 18th at the NCAA Championship.

Miller, from Savannah, Georgia, posted a 72.00 stroke average and finished second at the SEC Championship with a 6-under 204. She also tied for second at the NCAA Louisville Regional and earned second-team All-SEC honors in her first season with Ole Miss.

The Rebels begin their 2026-27 schedule Aug. 31 at the Boilermaker Classic in West Lafayette, Indiana. Last year, Ole Miss won the event with a score of 2-under 862. The team will look to build on a successful 2025-26 campaign that included two team titles and a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Louisville Regional.
