Ole Miss Women’s Basketball Signs Jade Tillman to 2026-27 Roster

Ole Miss women’s basketball announced the signing of Jade Tillman from UMBC to its 2026-27 roster on Thursday, as part of its ongoing roster rebuild for the upcoming season. Head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin praised Tillman’s size, skill, and toughness, noting her physicality and two-way ability fit the program’s standards.

During her lone season at UMBC, Tillman averaged 15.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. She was named the America East Newcomer of the Year and earned a spot on the All-America East First Team. Tillman scored in double figures in 28 games, including her last 25, and was named to the 2026 Air Force Reserve America East All-Tournament Team after her standout performance in the conference tournament, including a 30-point, 10-rebound game.

The 6-foot-1 forward previously played at East Carolina, where she appeared in 50 games over two seasons, totaling 90 points, 88 rebounds, 16 assists, 12 blocks, and 17 steals. A native of Rockville, Maryland, Tillman led Good Counsel High School to the WCAC championship game as a freshman and was rated a 90-overall recruit by ESPN. She earned Second Team All-WCAC honors as a junior.

Tillman joins fellow transfers Jada Richard, Doneelah Washington, Maya Anderson, Jaida Civil, Talaysia Cooper, Knisha Godfrey, Emily Howard, Rachael Okokoh, and Jada Richard on the Rebels’ 2026-27 roster. The team currently has 11 student-athletes, including returning players Desrae Kyles and Lauren Jacobs.

Ole Miss continues to build its program as it prepares for the 2026-27 season. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets now. The Rebels have qualified for five consecutive NCAA tournaments and are trending upward.
