Ole Miss Volleyball’s Mokihana Tufono Signs With Orlando Valkyries

Ole Miss volleyball player Mokihana Tufono has signed with the Orlando Valkyries of Major League Volleyball, the team announced Thursday. Tufono joins the professional ranks after a standout career with the Rebels.

The Aiea, Hawaii, native transferred to Ole Miss ahead of her junior year. She earned AVCA All-Region honors and is one of 17 players in program history to receive the accolade. Tufono finished her time in Oxford with 2,308 assists, ranking fifth in the rally scoring era and ninth all-time at Ole Miss.

Her efforts helped lead the Rebels to their first NCAA Tournament victory in 2024. In that match, Tufono posted 59 assists, 12 digs, three blocks, and two kills in a win over No. 21 Florida State. She was also recognized for her academic and community service achievements, including SEC Community Service Team honors and SEC academic recognition each season.

The Orlando Valkyries, who won the MLV title in 2025, compete at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The arena is also home to the University of Central Florida’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Ole Miss supports its volleyball program through the ACE Club, which helps fund the team’s efforts.
