OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss softball has promoted Lexie Brady from graduate assistant to assistant program and player coordinator, the university announced Monday.
Head coach Jamie Trachsel praised Brady’s impact, stating she brings energy, passion, and a deep understanding of the program. Trachsel added that Brady’s ability to connect with players and build relationships will benefit the team.
Brady, a Sioux Falls, South Dakota native, spent last season on the staff as a graduate assistant after a successful playing career at Ole Miss. She was a key member of the team’s historic 2025 Women’s College World Series run and earned NFCA All-South Region First Team and All-SEC Second Team honors.
During her four seasons as a Rebel, Brady posted a batting average of .289 with 34 home runs and 109 RBIs. At the end of her career, she ranked third all-time at Ole Miss in slugging percentage (.603) and on-base percentage (.433), and ranked fifth in home runs and eighth in RBIs and walks.
Brady will take on additional responsibilities, working with catchers, hitters, and baserunners, in her new role. Ole Miss softball continues to build its staff as it prepares for the upcoming season.
