Ole Miss Softball Places Five on CSC Academic All-District Teams

The University of Mississippi softball program announced Tuesday that five players earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams. Kennedy Bunker, Persy Llamas, Taylor Malvin, Mackenzie Pickens, and Cassie Reasner received the honors for the first time in their careers, according to the school.

Llamas was also named a finalist and will compete on the national ballot, the university said. The Rebels aim to secure back-to-back academic All-Americans after Lexie Brady was honored in 2025.

To qualify for the CSC All-District teams, student-athletes must be at least sophomores both academically and athletically, with a minimum 3.50 GPA. They also need to have significant playing time and start in numerous games, the school added.

Ole Miss softball fans are encouraged to join Rebel Rewards, the school’s loyalty program powered by Coca-Cola, through the Ole Miss sports app. Points earned can be redeemed for prizes and experiences. For more information and updates, fans can visit OleMissSports.com or follow the team on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Head coach Jamie Trachsel also maintains a presence on Twitter at @Jamie_Trachsel, the university noted.
