Ole Miss softball has been seeded 13th in the upcoming SEC Tournament, which begins Tuesday, May 5, in Lexington, Kentucky. The Southeastern Conference announced the seedings following the end of the regular season.
The Rebels will face No. 12 seed South Carolina in the first round. The game is scheduled to start around 6 p.m. CT, approximately 35 minutes after the conclusion of the second game of the day. The opening game of the tournament is set for 12 p.m. CT.
If Ole Miss wins, it will advance to face No. 5 seed Tennessee on Wednesday at 4 p.m. CT. All games through the third round will be televised on the SEC Network, with the semifinal and final matches airing on ESPN, according to the conference.
The Rebels finished the regular season with a record that earned them the 13th seed, and they will look to make a deep run in the tournament. The matchup against South Carolina is a rematch from the previous season’s regular-season games.
