Ole Miss Men’s Golf Ranks Fifth After 36 Holes at Cabo Collegiate
The University of Mississippi men’s golf team is in fifth place after 36 holes at the Cabo Collegiate in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Rebels shot a 3-under 281 in the second round and are five strokes under par for the tournament, according to live scoring updates.
Tom Fischer led Ole Miss again Monday, carding a 3-under 68. He closed his round with birdies on three of his final six holes and is tied for sixth place at 5-under for the event, as reported by the team.
Cameron Tankersley posted a 1-under 70 in the second round, while Cohen Trolio matched his previous round with an even-par score. Both players are even for the tournament. Daniel Tolf improved after a tough opening round, shooting 1-over 72, and Collins Trolio finished with a 2-over 73.
Ole Miss is one of only six teams in the field with scores in red figures through two rounds. Final round play begins Tuesday morning with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Central time.
