Jaheim Oatis, Lucas Carneiro and Oscar Bird shared insights into their preparations and team dynamics. Oatis, a senior defensive lineman, said returning to Mississippi was a key reason for his decision to join Ole Miss. “I wanted to come back home to Mississippi and play with my brothers,” he said. The opportunity has allowed him to spend more time with family during the season.

Oatis also discussed reuniting with Pete Golding, his former defensive coordinator at Alabama. “Pete was my defensive coordinator at Alabama my freshman year,” he said.
