Mississippi Valley State Softball to Stream SWAC Series at Jackson State
Jackson, Mississippi — Mississippi Valley State University’s softball team will have its first SWAC TV broadcast this weekend, with all three games against Jackson State streamed live on the conference’s exclusive network.
The series features Mississippi Valley State (1-21, 0-9 SWAC) visiting Jackson State (14-14, 6-2 SWAC). The games are scheduled for Friday, March 27, at 5 p.m., and Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. All contests will be played at Jackson State’s JSU Softball Field.
Viewers can watch the games online or follow live stats through the SWAC network. The series marks a rivalry that currently favors Jackson State, which leads the all-time series 65-58. Their last meeting was on April 19, 2025, at JSU Softball Field, where Jackson State defeated Mississippi Valley State 18-7.
Jackson State has won 23 consecutive games in the series. The last victory for Mississippi Valley State was on April 27, 2019, in a 10-7, nine-inning game.
