Mississippi State’s Jones, Pulliam Named to Preseason All-SEC Teams

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State football players Kelley Jones and Ethan Pulliam have been named to the 2026 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team, the league announced Wednesday.

Jones, a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, was recognized as a second-team preseason defensive back. Last season, he appeared in 11 games, starting four and recording 29 tackles. Jones has also been named to the Preseason All-America teams by the Associated Press and Pro Football Network. Additionally, he is on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List, which recognizes top defensive players.

Pulliam, a Starkville native, is listed as a third-team punter by SEC coaches. He enters the season as a second-team punter on the Sporting News preseason All-America team and is on the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List. He concluded the 2025 campaign with a program-record 46.8 yards per punt.
