Mississippi State to Play in Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament

STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State men’s basketball program announced its participation in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament scheduled for Nov. 25 and 27 at the Imperial Arena in Paradise Island, The Bahamas, according to team officials.

The Bulldogs will be joined by Memphis, Penn State and Wake Forest in the event. Matchups, game times and TV network assignments will be announced at a later date, the school said.

Mississippi State has already scheduled a non-conference game against Georgia Tech on Dec. 2 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge and will travel to Marquette on Dec. 12 for a home-and-home series that includes a return game at Humphrey Coliseum in 2027.

The Southeastern Conference has designated six teams that participated in the 2026 NCAA Tournament — Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M — along with LSU, Ole Miss and South Carolina, as part of its 2026-27 home schedule, according to conference officials.

Head coach Chris Jans, the only coach in program history to lead Mississippi State to the NCAA Tournament in three of his first four seasons, will oversee the Bulldogs’ upcoming schedule. The team’s season opener is set for Nov. 2 against Tennessee Tech at Humphrey Coliseum.

Mississippi State is now accepting season ticket deposits for the 2026-27 season. Fans can find more information at www.HailState.com/tickets and follow the team on social media by searching ‘HailStateMBK’ on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
