Mississippi State’s men’s basketball team will kick off its 2026-27 season at the Greenbrier Tip-Off tournament in West Virginia. The Bulldogs are scheduled to face Xavier in the opening game on Nov. 13, with the tournament held at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs.
The Bulldogs will also participate in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas later in November, with games scheduled from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27. Additional non-conference matchups include a game against Georgia Tech during the SEC/ACC Challenge on Dec. 2, and a road contest at Marquette on Dec. 7, according to the team’s schedule.
Details regarding game times and broadcast information are expected to be announced at a later date. The schedule also features SEC home and away games against top programs such as Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and others, as well as non-conference opponents.
Mississippi State has not yet recorded wins or losses for the season, as the schedule is upcoming. The team is preparing for its first game and the start of a busy schedule that includes participation in multiple tournaments and conference play.
