Mississippi State Baseball Earns Multiple All-America Honors
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State baseball added to its list of accolades with three players earning All-America honors, according to school officials. Tomas Valincius, Ace Reese and Noah Sullivan were each recognized by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), while Valincius and Reese also earned honors from Perfect Game.
Valincius was named to the NCBWA first team as a starting pitcher. Reese received second-team honors as a third baseman, and Sullivan was a third-team designated hitter. Perfect Game selected Reese to its first team and Valincius to its second team.
Reese and Sullivan previously earned All-America honors in 2025, with Reese also making the third team from Perfect Game last year. With Valincius’s recent recognition and Jacob Parker’s earlier honor as a Freshman All-American, Mississippi State now has 87 All-Americans in program history, totaling 171 honors.
Valincius, a sophomore left-hander, posted an 11-2 record during 16 starts, with a 3.50 ERA. Opponents hit .230 against him, and he led the SEC with 86 strikeouts in conference play.
Ace Reese became the third player in program history to hit 20 or more home runs in back-to-back seasons.
